Windows 7 Touch Issues
Issue: Touch does not work on SMART Board- except when touching a SMART related software (i.e. Notebook, SMART Ink etc.) Only a problem when using Windows 7.
When in Notebook, touch works fine in the work space, but you must hold a pen to select anything in the toolbars or sidetabs. When outside of SMART Notebook software, no touch is interactive except for SMART Ink (with a pen). You need to change your “Tablet PC” settings.
•Click on Start Menu
•Open Control Panel
•Select “Tablet PC Settings”
•Under “Display” tab
•Calibrate Settings
•Use the pen to touch 16 crosshairs
•In the "Other" tab, Select “Go to Pen and Touch
•In the Pen and Touch Window, Select the “Touch” tab •Check “Use your finger as input device” •If you are using an 800 series board with multi-touch gesturing capabilities, also check “Enable multi-touch and inking.”
